Kimberly Keane of the John J. Driscoll United Labor Agency received the Organized Labor/United Way Community Service Award.
In addition to assisting people build their job search skills, she also facilitates Stress Management Workshops at the Department of Labor and assists with Basic Computer Skills Training.
Ms. Keane’s dedication expands beyond union members and the unemployed seeking her help. She continually reaches out to all in the communities she serves, whether children without enough food on the weekends through the United Labor Agency’s backpack food drive, children in need of toys for the holidays, or people in need of personal care items through her yearly toiletry drive.
“For me, I find no degree of separation between my professional and personal life, and while I’ve learned that you may not be able to change the world, I know that you can always change somebody’s world.” shared Ms. Keane.
The Board & Staff of The United Labor Agency congratulates Kimberly on her award and the contributions she has made to the Labor Community.
