Community Services Coordinator
Katherine has been a Community Services Coordinator with the John J. Driscoll United Labor Agency since 2013 but has worked with ULA since 2011 as an intern and then as a consultant teaching introductory computer classes in our Waterbury office. Katherine has a certificate in Child & Family Services and an Associate’s Degree in Human Services, both from Naugatuck Valley Community College and is currently working toward her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services at the University of Bridgeport.
Katherine currently works in the Rocky Hill office where she mainly does job development and reporting for BRS clients and occasionally acts as a job coach on work evaluations and working interviews. Katherine also assists in running our Labor of Love Backpack Program for four different schools throughout the state and runs our holiday toy distribution that provides gifts to over 800 children throughout the state annually. Katherine maintains our ULA Facebook page, helps to plan and coordinate events, and represents the agency at most fundraisers and other functions.
