Lynn Dallas, (pictured here with Interim Director, Lew Slotnick) is our new Executive Director, effective March 15, 2007. Lynn just retired from the Connecticut Department of Labor after nineteen years of illustrious service, to return to ULA which has always been her passion. Prior to going to DOL,  Lynn had been our Executive Director.  She is very familiar with our programs and mission.

Throughout her nineteen-year tenure at DOL Lynn had a number of assignments she handled successfully. Some of those included:

• The first woman to hold the position of Director of Job Training and Skill Development.
• Executive Assistant to the DOL Commissioner where her projects included restructuring Connecticut’s Employment and Training Commission and establishing the state’s first Job Corps facility.
• Served as a gubernatorial appointee and Vice-Chair for the CT State Employees Campaign.
